Dear Shelly,

I have been lurking on your blog since my mother was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma 2 years ago. I live in the NY area, and my mom found and went to all of the same wonderful doctors as Craig, and got all of her treatment at Columbia. My mom wasn't healthy and strong to begin with like Craig and she passed away last June. I have been reading your blog and praying for Craig, hoping that he stayed strong through the wedding and beyond.

I never wanted to contact you because my mother lost her fight, but I just wanted to let you know that I am another person out there pulling for your family and sending good wishes and thoughts of healing your way.
